Profile: Concrete Man [Mega Man 9]
September 21st, 2008 4:21 AM
Editor: jbanes

Weapon: Concrete Cannon
Purpose: Dam Building
Weakness: Laser Trident

Concrete Man was created by Dr. Light for the purpose of constructing dams. His innate skill and knowledge of the task gives him a Type-A personality. He has been known to be rude, callous, and unsympathetic to any robot who is not as knowledgeable as himself. In fact, he has been known to outright berate any robot he deems "lazy".

Concrete Man's weapon of choice is an adaption of his concrete construction tactics. By firing wet concrete into the air, he is able to lay a trap for Mega Man. As the concrete hits the ground, it solidifies. If Mega Man touches the concrete, he will get stuck in place. A perfect opportunity for a pummeling!

The dam is still under construction! Mega Man must carefully navigate these perilous falls without falling into Concrete Man's traps...

Yeah, the spread-shot cannons are back. If you hated these guys in the earlier games, you'll have even more opportunity to dislike them in Mega Man 9.

Concrete Man is not happy about this lazy robot interfering with his trouble-making! He's going to teach Mega Man a lesson. Concrete style.

Mega Man narrowly escapes being stopped cold by a block of concrete!

The Concrete Shot becomes an important part of Mega Man's arsenal almost immediately.

Since the weapon creates a solid cube of concrete as soon as the shot hits a surface, Mega Man is able to create temporary platforms, block lasers, and stop enemies in their tracks.

This makes the Concrete Shot a handy tool for solving puzzles and taking on some of the more slippery enemies.
