Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of both The Legend of Zelda and Mario games, confirmed the next game in the Legend of Zelda series In a recent interview. Not much is known about the new Zelda game at this time, only that it will differ from previous games in the series by reinventing the Zelda formula somewhat. When questioned about the first person Twilight Princess demo that was shown at GDC last year, Miyamoto said:

"I don't necessarily think it will change that drastically, but I think that Zelda is a franchise that does need some big new unique ideas. And so the team right now is very focused on trying to find those ideas."

The same team that worked on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are currently working on this next title, along with a select few members of the DS Zelda team, creators of The legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. No details concerning a release date have been shown thus far. Nintendo's decision not to show this game at there E3 press conference would indicate that it is very early in development.

Not to make it sound like I didn't like Twilight Princess, but they better have more side quests and such and worry less about the motion sensing.  The last one was a little too quick and easy for my taste.

Hope it's good!

I have to disagree, i think the motion sencing shoudl be better implemented, but that doesnt leave out the actual game. TP was kind of lacking in the longevety were used to in Zelda games, especialy after Wind Waker. They need to increase all aspects of the game, from the controls to the content itself.

I agree and disagree with most users on here. I think twilight princess is a lengthy games EXCEPT users are right when they say that the game was easy which made it go by pretty fast. I would suggest making the dungeon puzzles just a little more challenging. But overall twilight princess still has a 10 in all categories for me.

I wouldn't mind a harder Zelda.  I have yet to play a 3D Zelda that I would call truly difficult.

I think that wind waker was shorter than twilight because wind waker had 4 quest, dungeon thingys and twilight princess had 7, also i beat wind waker in 2 days and i beat twilight in a week
