A few days ago we reported rumors surfacing that a sequel to the original Megaman (Rockman to some) is in the works. Well according to the latest issue of Nintendo Power, those rumors are true. In an interview with the series creator Keinji Inafuane details were revealed such as:

• Megaman 9 will come out for Wiiware
• The game will retain the 8-bit graphic style from the NES iterations
• The robot bosses for the new title include Magma Man, Galaxy Man, Jewel Man, Concrete Man, Horned Man, Plug Man, Tornado Man, and possibly Splash Woman(Most creative boss they had since the first game)

With any luck, Capcom might actually do something right for the series. Lets just hope the oh so "creative" cast of boss characters pull through.
