When we last left Dr. Wily, he had turned over a new leaf. After having been defeated by Mega Man time and time again, Wily swore that he would never use his robot genius to attack the world again.
For a time, Dr. Wily's promises seemed geniune. The world was at peace and prospertiy reigned. Mega Man, Proto Man, and Rover retired from active service while Dr. Light worked on new creations to serve mankind and make the world a better place.
Until one fateful day when Dr. Light's creations turned on the world! Chaos reigned, homes were destroyed, people were in danger! They turned to Dr. Light, who himself had only begun to grip the situation. When suddenly, Dr. Wily broadcasts a message to the beseiged globe.
Dr. Wily claims that he, the robot genius, had attempted to talk Dr. Light out of his evil plans for world domination. Dr. Light would have none of it, and turned his attention to the task of conquering. Thus Dr. Wily needs the financial assistance of the world to build robots capable of stopping Dr. Light!
It now falls on Mega Man's shoulders to prove Dr. Light's innocence and stop Wily's plans once and for all!
Despite the wealth of information WiiMedia has been able to pull together for this game, there are still some secrets shrouded in mystery. One of those secrets is how there can be 12 stages but only 8 robot masters?
These last 4 stages will pit Mega Man against Dr. Wily's greatest robotic inventions. Testing the metal of even the Blue Bomber. While we won't give too much away, we will give you a preview of what's in store...
