Dead Rising is being ported to Wii

Dead Rising was originally made as a xbox 360 exclusive by capcom, and was released in September 2006. Now the zombie epic is being ported to Wii, bringing with it all of the original's features and, by the looks of things, a similar graphic quality. The news was revealed in the popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, and the scans that have been obtained show the motion sensitive controls being incorparated into the gameplay.

With the promise of Wii MotionPlus games being created in the forseeable future, could capcom be the first third party to utilize 1:1 zombie slaying? One can only ask why Nintendo didn't show this off at there E3 press conference, but that in itself could indicate that Dead Rising Wii is still early in development. We'll keep you posted about any other details that appear in the coming weeks.
