Overview

A compilation of simple, Wii-playable sports games. Included sports are Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Boxing and Bowling. All of these sports games have a stylized look that's designed after classic 8-bit game designs but brought to life with full 3D technology. Although each game will concentrate on the core mechanics of hitting a ball, swinging a racquet, and putting with a club, the games will offer full (albeit simplified) sports experiences of whole games in Baseball and Tennis as well as multiple holes to play in Golf. Also compatible with the Mii avatar system for a more personalized experience.

Gameplay

  • Tennis: A game of doubles. Swing the remote like a racket to play.
  • Baseball: The computer automates the running and fielding. The player either pitches or bats.
  • Golf: Swing the remote like a golf club to play through the included 9 holes.
  • Bowling: Play a regular 10 frame game of bowling by swinging the remote like you're rolling a bowling ball.
  • Boxing: Punch, defend, or lean, with the remote and nunchuk used to control both in-game hands.

  • Features

  • Play Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling and Boxing in the comfort of one's living room. No ball boys scurrying about, no oil from the alleys to get players dirty and no rain to keep anyone from a day at the court, park or course. Use the Wii Remote controller to mimic the actions of swinging a racket, bat or club, roll a ball down an alley or bring the left jab.
  • Players can use their own Mii caricatures in the game and play them against their friends' Miis for a more personalized experience. As players improve, their Miis' skill levels will increase, so that they can see exactly how much better they've become.
  • People of all skill levels can pick up and play any of the games in the unprecedented Wii Sports package, making this truly a title for everyone!
