Overview

Link returns to Hyrule searching for the Triforce and to awaken Zelda from his endless sleep. The player gets on a quest to find the Triforce of Courage and save Hyrule from ruin. You have to learn magic spells, talk to people in towns to get clues, collect items increasing your power and explore six palaces where the underlings of the evil Ganon is waiting for you. This sequel to the Adventure classic uses a side-scrolling visual engine unique to the series, which is more technical for combats. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link also features more in-depth world roaming as Link encounters townsfolk during his quest.

You can also interact with non-players characters (NPCs).

Gain experience points (EXP) in order to upgrade Link's attack, magic and life (Defense) by defeating enemies.

Each attribute (attack, life and magic) has a maximum of eight levels.

Acquire several Heart Containers and Magic Containers to permanently increase life and magic points.
