Overview

Rip up some ice in this entry in the SSX franchise designed to let you use your body and motions in ways possible only with Wii as you race down the mountain in snowboard. Revolutionary controls take full advantage of the Wii's potential by putting you in total command of your skier or rider, on-the-ground and in-the-air, by translating every motion you make into the skills that create mountain legends.

Gameplay

SSX Blur uses both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk controller. Movement, speed, and jumping is controlled through the Nunchuk, while, when in the air, the Wii Remote is used to preform tricks. The Wii Remote is also used for throwing snowballs at targets or foes during a race.

As the player races down the hillside, they can successfully complete tricks to earn points as well as to build up an ever-depleting boost meter. When the boost meter is full, the player is then able to execute special "Ubertricks", which require the player to draw a specific shape in the air, such as a heart or a treble clef. While the player knows some Ubertricks at the start of the game, additional ones can be discovered in career mode by collecting icons for Ubertricks which are hidden across the various courses.

Feel the Groove: With dynamic music mirroring your experience, you will feel the tunes intensify as you stick your tricks and your groove meter starts to fill. Keep grooving to boost your speed and amp up your air.

Multiplayer modes include head-to-head and hot seat, in which players take turns competing for the best time or highest number of points.
