Overview

The video game is not a full adaptation of the movie itself, rather with the original motion picture as the backdrop. The plot thickens in this "What If?" story where Tony Montana manages to shoot his way out of his mansion, and escapes with the loss of all his items, his sister, and henchmen; as opposed to the movie where Montana is being killed by assassins sent by his associate Sosa.

The story focuses on rebuilding Montana's cocaine empire. Make the right choices to live the high life. As per the classic and reputed movie, this game is just as violent showing detailed graphics (including dismemberment) which some claims are going further than Grand Theft Auto series, besides the extensive amounts of profanity, also exceeding Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Features

The game takes place in the various Miami neighborhoods where you must eliminate 90% of the gangs operating there in order to acquire all purchasable fronts. (This does not apply in The Islands, even though there are various gangs there). Locations are as follows: Downtown, Little Havana, North Beach, South Beach and The Islands.

A multitude of characters are available like: Tony Montana, Felix, The Sandman, Coco, Venus, Alejandro Sosa, Edgar and Alfonso Diaz, Nacho Contreras, Gaspar Gomez, Jerry, George Sheffield, The Skull, Lieutenant Colosis, Maribel, Dominick, Logan and The Dock Boss

The weapon system is very similar to GTA series, but with some restricting. Firstly, players are limited to three (3) weapon slots, with an extra slot one the upgrade is completed. Secondly, it does not allow you to have two weapons of the same class

There are upgrades available once you gained reputation points. The various weapon upgrades are grenade launcher attachment, shotgun attachment, increased clip size, silencer attachments and stabilizing equipment for less recoil.
