Okay, I need to make this clear before I start: I hate racing games. Hate them. With all my heart. Yet, this game managed to turn me into a beer chugging NASCAR dad. What happened?



It wasn't the astounding story. In fact, there is no story. There's not even any depth to it. It's just pure, unbridled fun.



The control scheme (Hold the Wiimote sideways, tilt to steer, 2 to put on the gas) only pumps up the fun. It's easy to pick up and play, and a blast for family members of all ages.



The graphics leave something to be desired, the music makes me want to gouge out my ears with a plastic spoon, and it has no depth at all. It just doesn't matter. It's plain awesome.
