Independent PC and videogame developer formerly known as Interactive Studios. Blitz Games was established in 1991 by Philip & Andrew Oliver (aka "The Oliver Twins"). The Olivers started writing games as early as 1981, with the first published games appearing in 1984, including the Dizzy and the Simulator series and Ghostbusters II.

Over the years the company has developed over 50 games across virtually all platforms and has grown to a staff of 90 employees. In 1999, the company's name was changed from Interactive Studios to Blitz Games. The company is located in Leamington Spa, just one and a half hours north of London.
